Ingredients: 2.5 cups split peas (thoroughly rinsed) 1 large yellow onion 3 carrots, peeled and diced 3 stalks celery, diced 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped 7 cups vegetable broth 1.5 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 bay leaf Directions: 1. Throw all ingredients into your crockpot. Mix well. 2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, stirring every so often. 3. THAT IS IT! Easy peasy :) Enjoy!!
